結成15周年という節目の年を終え、
勢いそのままに16年目のジルデコが発表する
「ジルデコ8」はコラボレーションアルバム。
BASI（韻シスト）、Hiro-a-key（origami production）、伊藤大輔、KOOLOON（坂本竜太、田中義人、今出宏）らと共作し、
今までのジルデコの作品にはなかった男性ボーカルとのデュエット、ラップや、打ち込みのサウンドにも挑戦し、16年目の新境地を開拓したアルバム。
